I have been "slacking off" on posting pictures lately...sorry. I returned back to work on November 26th and have found that there are not enough hours in the day to spend time with the girls and get things done!! It was tough returning to work, I was sure getting used to spending my time being a full time mommy! Things are going well with Makenna at the babysitter, except for a week-and-a-half "hunger strike" where she wouldn't take a bottle!! She is now eating great and getting along well! Kamrynn just got signed up for volleyball today and is looking forward to that! She was really wanting to play basketball since that is her favorite sport but that didn't work out and she is looking forward to trying something new. Other than that we are looking forward to spending time with family over the holidays, hopefully the weather cooperates!! I will try to update next week, Makenna has her 4 month check up and we are anxious to see what our little "chunky monkey" weighs!!!

November 11, 2007 Kamrynns haircut

Kamrynn FINALLY agreed to get her hair cut off today. I think she was finally tired of her mom combing through all of the knots!! She was very happy with the end results, especially the "sparkles" they put in her hair after they styled it.

October 31, 2007 Makenna is 2 months old!!

Makenna had her 2 month check up and she was 10 pounds 6 ounces and 23 1/2 inches long!! She is recognizing people and smiles a lot! She also loves to "chat"with her big sister. I am taking her picture every month in the same 12 month size onsie to see how she grows, she is already filling it out way more than last month!!

October 31, 2007 Happy Halloween!!

Kamrynn and Makenna had fun dressing up for Halloween this year...well, Kamrynn did. Kamrynn dressed as a "Vampiress" and Makenna was a Black Cat. Kamrynns favorite part was passing out candy to people who came to our house.

October 30th 2007 Carving pumpkins

Kamrynn and I had fun carving our pumpkins. Kamrynn used to hate the "goop" inside the pumpkins but she dug right in this year. She did a good job carving all by herself and didn't injure herself so that was a big plus!!

October 29th, 2007 Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

It was such a nice afternoon we decided to go check out the pumpkin patch. We did lots of walking because Kamrynn was on search for the "perfect pumpkin."

Before Kamrynn got herself ready for school she had to wish Makenna good morning. Makenna gives Kamrynn her full attention and LOVES to listen to Kamrynn talk. (and Kam loves to talk so that works out well!!) Makenna kept smiling and cooing while Kamrynn was talking to her.

October 20, 2007 Fun at the Corn Maze

Lindy and Brian set up a fun night at the Corn Maze. Unfortunatly the weather didn't cooperate so Makenna and I could go but Lanni and Kamrynn went and had a fun time. Kamrynn especially had fun on the barrel ride and making her way through the maze.

Makenna is 6 weeks old!!

Hard to believe Makenna is 6 weeks old already!! She is starting to smile and coo and her favorite pastime is eating!!!! She gets excited and starts kicking when she knows a meal is on it's way! She is really filling out and is getting chunky thighs, which is good since she gets lots of shots in those thighs in a couple of weeks. We'll be curious to see what her weight is!

October 12th, 2007 The tooth fairy is going broke!!

Kamrynn lost two teeth Friday night. The first one fell out while she was eating then she worked on getting the other one out the rest of the night. She wrote the tooth fairy a note asking if you get more money for clean teeth. The tooth fairy wrote back and left an extra quarter since her teeth were so clean.

October 6, 2007 Kamrynns Birthday Party

Kamrynn celebrated her birthday at the local bowling alley with 8 of her friends. The kids had a great time! Lanni and his friend Chris bowled with the kids but quit because the kids were beating them. (the bumpers were blamed...yeah, sure!)

We had a nice visit with Pop-pop, Memow, and Uncle Troy! Everyone got to meet Makenna and we celebrated Kamrynn's 9th birthday while they were here. Uncle Troy also took Kamrynn skating for her birthday and thankfully there were no injuries to report! Kamrynn was sad to see Memow go (she had been here for a while helping us out) she had lots of fun playing with her grandma!!

Welcome Makenna

On Friday August 31st 2007 at 2:12am we welcomed Makenna Jean to our family. She surprised us and was in a big hurry to make her entrance to the world. Makenna was born 1 month early and weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces, she was 19 inches long.
